A Few Good Men

This was probably the most tightly choreographed show I've been a part of, even including the dance musicals. Staged in an alleyway style, the show flowed like clockwork as 13 actors moved as many set pieces around the stage to the rhythm of military chants. In the midst of all that, Lt. Jack Ross gets some great exchanges as the prosecuting attorney, but he also spends a fair amount of time sitting and watching as the defense argues its case. Those scenes, where I could watch the play in character and take notes on my prop legal pad, were a unique opportunity to get a front-row seat to top-notch theatre night after night.
